As we tour there will be in the field discussions on how to best compose a scene and pre visualize for processing. Lens choice, depth the field and focal points will also be reviewed. As we drive from location to location conversations on how this region was developed and the livelihood of local farmers will occur.

This tour will have only 8 photographers and needs at least 5 to be confirmed.

Astrophotography

We will also set aside two late evenings for astrophotography. Prior to those nights there will be a 2 hour meeting to discuss camera settings and what to expect in the field at night. Please contact me with questions for the best lens and other equipment that will be helpful.

Come tour the Palouse in the spring when the rolling hills are many shades of entwined green and the yellow mustard seed flowers are glorious. During this tour we will capture the classic meandering landscapes and concentrate on locations that work best for the the light as it changes from sunrise to sunset. As always treasured red barns, old trucks, windmills and abandoned buildings will not be missed.
